What is CBD?

Cannabidiol or CBD is one of the many active compounds found in the Cannabis plant. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive. In the UK not many official studies have been conducted but the results so far have suggested that CBD may have great effects on many health issues.

Why should I add CBD?

CBD has long been used and recognised by many as a substance that can aid the effects of many health issues, including :

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Seizures
  • Neurodegenerative disorders
  • Pain relief
  • Skin disorders
  • Cancer symptoms and growth (National Cancer Institute)
  • and many more.
Will I get 'High'?

CBD will not get you high. THC is the psychoactive compound in cannabis that produces the 'high sensation' and not CBD.

How much CBD will each 250ml bottle contain?

If you choose to add CBD to your juicetox you will be getting 5mg per 250ml bottle which means you will be taking 25mg per day which is within the suggested amount from ongoing research taking place. Required dosage can vary from person to person depending on many factors.

Is CBD an addictive substance?

Because CBD doesn't produce the high associated with THC, its potential for abuse is considered limited by scientists. A March 2017 study published in the journal of Drug and Alcohol dependence examined details of a previous study where researchers administered various oral dosages of CBD to candidates and CBD had as much likelihood for abuse as the placebo used in the study.

Can I take CBD if I am taking other medication?

If you are taking other medications you should consult your doctor before using CBD of any sort.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact the WILD team.
